Contemporary urban space management focuses on the development of family-friendly places and outdoor activities. Playgrounds play a key role in this context, and financing them may be easier than it seems. To help city offices in this matter, we organized a webinar dedicated to the possibilities of obtaining funds for the development of this type of space.
Training for offices: Obtain financing for a playground
The training, which took place on October 24, 2023, gathered representatives of local governments interested in the development of local places to play. Our 12 years of experience in obtaining funds – adding up to an impressive amount of PLN 8 million in grants obtained – became the foundation on which we shared knowledge about available programs, funds and best practices.
From our webinar you learned:
- What sources of financing are available for the implementation of playgrounds.
- Which programs and funds offer support to local governments.
- What projects were successful and why – case studies.
Webinar with a real impact on communities
The meeting was met with great interest and active participation of the participants, which proves the need for further education in the field of financing public recreational spaces. Insightful questions and the involvement of the participants confirmed that the topic was not exhausted and the gathered specialists were willing to deepen their knowledge.
What’s next? A series of training courses for city offices
The motivation and positive opinions of the participants prompted us to plan further webinars. We encourage you to follow our Social Media, where we will inform you about upcoming meetings.
Our conclusions
The development of municipal playgrounds is an investment in the future of the community. Our webinar opened up new perspectives for many local governments and enabled them to gain practical knowledge necessary to start or develop projects. Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in subsequent editions that will expand your competences in raising funds to create safe and educational spaces for children.
