Spring has come and the playground needs to be inspected. How to do this to ensure children can play safely? 

Step 1. A thorough visual inspection of the playground.

The first stage, from which you should always start the inspection of the playground, is to carefully examine each device from all sides. It is especially important to check the places of joints and welds. If the playground is wooden, walk across it and make sure no boards need to be replaced.  

It is also worth checking the installation sites – i.e. where the devices are buried in the ground. Were the foundations uncovered after the thaw? If so, secure them as soon as possible to the height indicated by the manufacturer!

     

Step 2. Inspection of the playground by specialists.

The legal situation regarding who should supervise playgrounds is not yet regulated, but it is known that the person who supervises the area is responsible for every accident in this place. To make sure that your playground is completely safe and to protect yourself legally, you can have the playground inspected by professionals. If you have our Science Playground, you can arrange it with us. If you have devices from another manufacturer, contact them and ask if they offer such a service.

Step 3. Service.

 

Any noticed damage requires immediate repair. Secure this device and prevent children from using it. Then you should entrust the repair to a person who has the appropriate skills. This task should not be left in the hands of technical people who do not have the appropriate knowledge, as this can only make the situation worse. 

Warranty and post-warranty service.

 

Some playground manufacturers offer servicing of devices not only under warranty, but also after its expiry. This solution ensures that the device left repaired according to the technical data sheet will be safe to use for a long period of time. Scientific Playgrounds offer servicing of our devices throughout Poland. To arrange such an inspection or service, simply call the service and complaints department and describe your situation. Our employee will set a date with you and organize the departure of the service team to your facility.

What should you prepare before ordering a playground inspection?

To improve the work of the service team, you will be asked to take as detailed photos of the devices as possible. Thanks to them, our specialists will know what parts and tools they should take with them. In addition
