Our key word in our considerations is COMPACTNESS. What is she?
Technically, it is a set of simple structure, but at the same time containing many components.
How then to explain the term “compact playground”? In our opinion, a comprehensive definition will be:
It is a small architectural object that serves recreational, leisure and other purposes for the local community and visitors. The furnishing elements of this place should create a common visual whole, shape the character of this place and fit into the surroundings. An important feature is the installation of several devices that will offer different activities.
Design stage of a compact playground
When creating places such as compact playgrounds, we must think about many issues:
- Collecting documentation and permits
- Accurate definition of investor expectations
- A thorough examination of the ground and its shape
- Planning the boundaries of the project
- Identifying all architectural barriers and obstacles
- Choosing the right equipment (checking certificates)
- Matching the aesthetics of all devices to create a coherent whole that blends in with the surroundings
- Arrange devices while maintaining appropriate distances between them
