A board about the first millennial saint – a young person who showed that holiness is possible today.
A large-format educational board presenting the life and mission of Carlo Acutis — a young enthusiast of the Eucharist, technology, and relationships with others. The whole concept is based on a simple message: goodness can be discovered and practiced every day, and inspiration can come from the lives of ordinary yet extraordinary people.
The board encourages children to cooperate, reflect, and actively take part in discovering values.
How does the board work?
The educational board serves as a point of reference during classes and activities.
- presents the most important information about Carlo Acutis’s life in a clear, visual form
- encourages conversation and questions
- inspires reflection on values and attitudes
can be used as a starting point for group tasks and activities
Thanks to its structure, it supports participants’ natural engagement and makes it easier to conduct classes in an attractive, interactive way.
The project is divided into three activity zones, combining a quiz, a biographical puzzle, and movement-based tasks to create an engaging form of learning through action.
Zone 1 – Quiz: What is Carlo the patron saint of?
The first section is a quiz in which children discover who Carlo was and what he became the patron saint of. They answer a series of questions, and the letters from the correct answers form a final password — a reward for careful attention.
Sample questions
What was the topic of the website created by Carlo?
Where was Carlo born?
Who told Carlo about the final things of human life and about prayer?
Zone 2 – Puzzle
In the second section, children arrange pictures in the correct order — from Carlo’s earliest years to the moment he was proclaimed a saint. In this way, they learn about the key moments of his life and practice chronological thinking.
Events from Carlo’s life
He was born on May 3, 1991, in London
He received his First Holy Communion at the age of seven
He created a website about Eucharistic miracles
He died on October 12, 2006
He was beatified on October 10, 2020
He was canonized in 2025
Zone 3 – Movement Tasks and Missions of Good Deeds
The third section is a collection of movement-based tasks, search activities, and missions of good deeds. “Jump into Goodness,” “Miracle Detective,” searching for Cleo the cat on the board — all designed to help children feel that it is good to be good to others and to learn to appreciate it.
