John Paul II Memory Game – an Outdoor Educational Game About the Life of the Polish Pope

Discover the story of John Paul II in an accessible, engaging and inspiring way

The John Paul II Memory Game is a large-scale outdoor version of the classic matching game. It introduces children and adults to the life of Karol Wojtyła — from his childhood in Wadowice and his youthful interests to his path to the priesthood and his pontificate as Pope John Paul II.

Players rotate the cubes, match photographs with the correct descriptions, discover interesting facts and learn how a boy from Wadowice became a pope known throughout the world.
The game offers much more than entertainment. It provides a unique opportunity to explore the history, values and legacy of the Polish pope.

How Does It Work?

The John Paul II Memory Game consists of rotating cubes, each featuring four different sides. Every side presents a different educational activity, allowing participants to explore the story of Karol Wojtyła in a new and engaging way.

Match Photographs with Events from the Pope’s Life

Connect each photograph with the correct description and arrange the most important events from Karol Wojtyła’s life.
Discover his hometown of Wadowice, his childhood and youth, his path to the priesthood and the defining moments of his pontificate.

Discover Facts and Fascinating Stories

Find out why he loved the mountains, how he spent his free time, how the famous story of the Wadowice cream cakes began and why young people played such an important role in his life and teaching.
