How do our playgrounds support learning and develop creativity?

You only have to look at the children playing to see that playing is more than just moments filled with joy….. It is also an important training in perseverance, concentration and the courage to overcome limitations. This is why we believe that a modern children’s playground can be the ideal place to foster learning and develop creativity.

Freedom is a key!

Our playground equipment is inspired by contemporary education. M. Montessori, A. Stern and K. Robinson – they all agree that learning new things and developing passions should take place freely.

Forcing, stiff rules and restrictions? They can spoil not only the fun but also take the joy out of learning new things….

Fortunately, the atmosphere on the playground is suitable for the most creative ideas. Especially when toddlers have unlimited access to equipment that inspires even more than the slide or swings. Meeting at an air cannon or an elephant’s ear – that sounds great! And it can be the start of extraordinary friendships. Both with peers and with science.

We know how to make children interested… in real life!

It is not easy to engage the modern child.  Especially when they think that only a computer, tablet, telephone or television will provide them with access to everything interesting.

It turns out that the unknown playground elements attract like a magnet. Their sizes, shapes, colours – they hide a secret which fascinates from the very beginning. And then… it gets even more interesting! Because it happens that you can see with your own eyes how animated films are made. Or admire the world through a pane of glass in different colours. And even feel the sound on your own skin thanks to Tibetan gongs!

The modern playground – unlike modern technology – is completely safe for the child’s proper development.

For difficulties with sensory integration.

The statistics are alarming: more and more children are affected by sensory integration difficulties. Symptoms include over- or under-sensitivity to stimuli, problems with balance, aggressive behaviour… There is a good reason why sensory playgrounds are becoming increasingly popular. The good news is that toddlers instinctively love to develop the capabilities of their hands, eyes and ears.

At the paint wall, you can practise precision and perceptiveness while feeling like an artist in the outdoors. The music panel allows for a whole range of sound experiments. And the Gardener’s Table is full of ideas for aromatic and tasty “dishes” made from sand, grass and twigs….

Attention, important concentration training…

Can playground equipment promote concentration and attentiveness? Of course it can. The proof is in the device with which everyone can try mirror writing, in the style of Leonardo da Vinci himself. A great way to train concentration and memory is also our eco-memory game. And also a musical game of musical triangles. A fun activity that we recommend not only for children, but also for adults who find it difficult to control their thoughts and stress!

Fascinating physics in an outdoor laboratory.

Learning by doing – it works! And not just in theory, but in practice. Our playground equipment proves that science and fun experimentation make a great duo. And that complicated definitions are not needed to understand the phenomenon of a sound wave, the theory of Lissajous curves or the conservation of momentum and energy. It is much more fun to learn physics when you can see everything at a glance… The satisfaction of understanding physical phenomena is a great feeling. And having confidence in your intellectual abilities is a wonderful motivator to learn!

Take a look at our range of experimentation equipment and let us know if you would like to create such a unique space in an educational facility, park or public playground.
